MANILA, Jan. 27 — An unidentified man attempted to enter the house of actor television host Ferdinand “Vhong” Navarro in Quezon City Sunday evening.

This was revealed on Monday by Atty. Dennis Manalo, counsel of Navarro, when he came to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to meet with Justice Secretary Leila M. De Lima.

According to Manalo, the unidentified man knocked on the gate of the house of Navarro, shouted to his househelp and ordered her to open the gate for him.

However, Manalo said, the househelp did not follow the order, hence, the man was not able to get into the house.

He added that the incident occurred after Navarro was interviewed by a TV network Sunday afternoon about the mauling incident last Wednesday night.

Manalo said that although it is not yet confirmed whether the latest incident is connected to the mauling incident involving the actor TV host in Taguig City, the family of Navarro is now frightened.

Manalo was accompanied by Chito Rono, the manager of Navarro, when he went to the DOJ.

He said that their meeting with the DOJ secretary was aimed to ensure that there will be a fair investigation in the case of Navarro. (PNA)
