DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Nov. 8 — The winner of the round trip tickets Dubai-Manila-Dubai in the Philippine Airlines inaugural reception raffle draw will donate his flight tickets to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) in Dubai.

In a chance interview, Abdul Razagh Mohammadi, chief executive officer of Abu Nader Group of Companies, said he wants to help distressed overseas Filipino workers by way of providing them the free flight tickets.

Mohammadi was picked as the lucky winner of the round trips for two tickets among the guests who attended Thursday night’s reception party for PAL Express (PALex) inaugural flight to Dubai.

“I will donate these tickets to OWWA,” Mohammadi said after the raffle draw.

PAL also gave away round-trip tickets for two to any domestic destination in the Philippines during the same event.

A number of Filipino guests who attended Thursday night’s reception said they knew Mohammadi to be a very kind and generous person, especially to Filipinos who form part of the bulk of overseas workers in Dubai.

PAL made an inaugural flight to Dubai on Nov. 6 which signaled a stronger relationship between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. (PNA)
