2 killed, 1 hurt as tornado hits Cotabato

MANILA, Nov. 8 — The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Friday announced that two people were reported killed while another one was injured after a tornado struck in Pikit, Cotabato Thursday.

It said the tornado hit Sitio Tapunin, Barangay Pamalilan in Pikit town around 5 a.m.

The NDRRMC identified the two victims as Bing Guiamelon Ukoman and Datu Puti Ukoman, described as a one-year old.

An eight-year-old child, Baby Doren, was injured.

The NDRRMC said the tornado also damaged one mosque and five houses. (PNA)
