STUDY_IN_CANADA.jpg08Interested parents and students (top and lower photo) flocked to 2 of the 19 Canadian institutions who participated in the 2nd Study Fair sponsored by the Canadian Government held Tuesday (October 22) at the Fairmont Hotel, Makati City. Representatives from 19 Canadian institutions were present to discuss opportunities to study in Canada for the K-12, college and universities levels. Last year, Canada welcomed a record of over 100,000 international students through the issuance of study permits. Today, a total of 260,000 international students are studying in the country, both full-and part-time. Canada is also among the list of top three Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) member-countries in terms of investment in public post-secondary and tertiary education.
