MANILA, Aug. 18 (PNA) – A total of 74 “colorum” and out-of-line public utility bus (PUBs) plying the metropolis were impounded by the joint operation of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) since it was launched late last month.

MANILA August 18 (PNA)–The National University Bulldogs completely owned the Adamson Soaring Falcons, 80-48, in their second round clash of the UAAP Season 76 Men's Basketball Tournament on Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena (MOA Arena) in Pasay City.

NU improved their record to 6-3 to hold the solo second spot while the Falcons fell to 3-6.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) have recently expressed plans to take down signages in most parts of Metro Manila, especially along Roxas Boulevard.

According to renowned architect Paulo G. Alcazaren, the signages, especially the really big ones distract pedestrians from appreciating the actual beauty of the city.
