School owners urged to bid property in BGC

MANILA, June 4 –- The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is inviting bidders especially educational institution owners to lease and develop a property in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig City.

A BCDA official said the property measuring 1,395 square-meter is a chance for educational institutions to put up their schools in one of the most progressive and developed cities in the Metro.

BCDA President Arnel Paciano Casanova said that constructing educational and civic institutions are in line with their aim to pursue continued national progress which means national growth are not only contributed by mall and hotel businesses.

Casanova added that inviting educational institutions will play a vital role not only in the Taguig business district but also for the whole country.

Besides, the former military base will benefit the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as remittances will go to modernization of AFP to improve protection and security in the country.

Purchasing of the terms of reference (TOR) is already open and this can be avail until June 11 only for a non-refundable fee of P50,000 which is payable to BCDA through manager’s check.

Interested bidders may visit the BCDA office at the BCDA Corporate Center, 2nd Floor Bonifacio Technology Center, 31st street, Crescent Park West, BGC.

BCDA will also hold a pre-bid conference 10:00 am of June 11. (PNA)
