MANILA, May 31 — A joint team of the Manila International Airport Authority Airport Police and the National Bureau of Investigation apprehended a man for selling fake access passes to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

The arrested was identified as Julian del Rosario y Devilleres, 47, owner of Jugrapharts Photo Shop in Sun Valley, Pasay City.

“We will continue to run after enterprising individuals whose only purpose is to challenge our security procedures at the NAIA,” MIAA general manager Jose Angel Honrado.

“This is one serious concern that we are very happy to have addressed with the help of the National Bureau of Investigation,” Honrado added.

Based on MIAA intelligence report, Del Rosario has been fabricating fake NAIA access pass and sold it for P100 each.

After confirming the report, the MIAA police used an asset that led to the arrest of Del Rosario through an entrapment operation last May 30.

Del Rosario was brought to the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office where he was charged with violation of Article 172 of the Revised Penal Code. (PNA)
