Quezon provincial police resumes recruitment of new cops on June 14

CAMP GUILLERMO NAKAR, Lucena City May 29 — The Philippine National Police (PNP)-Quezon provincial police office resumes its program on the recruitment of new police officers or Police Officer 1s (PO1) to meet the quota for the year 2013.

The announcement for the resumption on June 14 came after the election ban on hiring where police offices would now accept applicants and the required documents (compiled in folders) from June 14 until June 28.

Those aspiring to be cops must possess the following general qualifications and submit the documentary requirements:

For the general qualifications, applicants must be a natural born Filipino citizen; of good moral character; completed a baccalaureate degree; height of at least 162.5 cm (5 feet and 4 inches) for male and 157.5 cm (5feet and 2 inches) for female; weight of not more or less than five (5) kilograms of the standard weight measurement corresponding to height, age and gender.

The police applicant must possess any of the following eligibilities: a) NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance Examination; b) 2nd Level Eligibility (Career Service Professional, CSC PO1/PO-1998 onwards; c) RA No. 6506 (College Graduate/Any 4 year-course) for appointment; d) RA 1080 (Bar and Board Examination); e) PD No. 907 (College Graduate with Honors).

Police aspirants must be 21 to 30 years old; must not have been convicted by final judgment of any offense or crime involving moral turpitude; must not have been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government; must pass the general physical, neuro-psychiatry, medical, agility test and interview.

The documentary requirements include (compiled in folders):1) City/Municipal Peace and Order Council Clearance (City/MPOC) Resolution and Endorsement; 2) Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212 Revised 2005); 3) Birth Certificate and Marriage Contract for Married person (Authenticated by NSO); 4) College Diploma & Transcript of Records (TOR for Employment); 5) General Weighted Average (GWA) of TOR; 6) Good Moral Character (from School); 7) Eligibility: NAPOLCOM/CSC/PRC/ Report of Rating; 8) Local Clearances: a. Barangay; b. Police; c. Mayor; d. Prosecutor/Fiscal; e. NBI; f. MTC; g. RTC;

The application should include whole body picture and 2×2 with Name Tag (In Formal Attire) and valid ID (photocopy/Xerox copy).
