MANILA, May 15 — The runningmate of Manila Mayor-elect Joseph "Erap" Ejercito Estrada Wednesday accepted his challenge to continue the leadership in the city in 2016.

Re-elected Vice Mayor Isko Moreno said he is ready to accept the wish of Erap that he is just good for one term only.

According to Moreno, if ever he will be given the opportunity to run for mayor in 2016 he is ready to accept it.

It was learned that after the proclamation Tuesday, Erap announced that he will serve for one term only and he will pass it on to his vice-mayor to continue his plans for the city.

According to the former president, what's important now is that his dream of leading Manila for reforms has come true.

Erap won against his close rival incumbent Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim while Lim's runningmate Lou Veloso also lost to Moreno. (PNA)
