DAGUPAN CITY, May 1 — President Benigno Aquino III will be in Pangasinan on Thursday to continue campaigning for the administration's 12 senatorial candidates under Team Pnoy and his own candidates in the local level all over Pangasinan.

A media advisory received by PNA on Wednesday showed the President will be in Lingayen in the morning and in Urdaneta in the afternoon together with the Liberal Party (LP) senatorial candidates.

Following his arrival at the Lingayen Airport at 9:30 a.m., the President will lead an inaugural drive through at the newly completed bypass road in Barangay Quibaol, Lingayen built by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

The 1.6 kilometer project costing P495,000 is a shortcut road from Dagupan to western Pangasinan, cutting travel time of motorists to and from western Pangasinan by 15 minutes without passing through downtown Binmaley and Lingayen.

At the project site, Lingayen Mayor Editha Hallare will welcome President Aquino while Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson will conduct a briefing on the project.

From there, President Aquino will motor to the Lingayen 1 Central School in Barangay Maniboc where he will meet local and community leaders, especially from his own party.

In the afternoon, President Aquino will also meet local and community leaders at the Urdaneta Cultural Center in Urdaneta where a political rally will also be held. (PNA)
