Samar commits 12-0 in favor of Team PNoy

CALBAYOG CITY, April 29 — This election time, Team PNoy could expect a 12-0 win in the province of Samar.

This was assured by Liberal Party gubernatorial candidate Aika Uy as she disclosed that 90 percent of the people in the province are supporting the administration slate.

Meanwhile, first district Rep. Mel Senen Sarmiento said that this midterm elections, Samarnons should show their gratitude to President Benigno Aquino III by voting for the Liberal Party candidates.

He underscored that the programs and projects being enjoyed by the Samarnons all came from the Aquino administration.

Samar has 481,275 registered voters, the second highest in Eastern Visayas region. Leyte has the highest number of voters at 1,072,743.

The Team PNoy visited Calbayog City Friday last week with no less than President Aquino joining them in the sortie along with LP’s campaign manager, Senator Franklin Drilon and Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas.

Present senatoriable candidates were Benigno “Bam" Aquino, Ramon Magsaysay Jr. and Risa Hontiveros. Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel was represented by his sister Gwen while Edgardo "Sonny" Angara sent her wife Tootsie to join the sortie. (PNA)
