La Union Province has at least 400,000 registered voters based on Commission on Election’s 2010 election.

Although it is not considered as a vote-rich province, La Union however is on COMELEC’s top 10 provinces in the country with the highest voter turnout.

Out of 432,606 registered voters in La Union, 358,951 actually voted in 2010 elections, reaching the 8th spot with its 82.97 percent voter turnout.
