JV grateful for big jump in latest survey

DAVAO CITY, March 25 – United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) senatorial candidate Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito Estrada was elated of the latest senatorial survey conducted by the Social Weather Stations (SWS), placing him in the third spot.

“I am very thankful for the support of the public. Our hard work really paid off as we continue to roam around the country to inform the people of our advocacies, said Estrada, who is currently the representative of San Juan City.

UNA candidates were in Mindanao to campaign.

The March 15-17 survey with 1,200 respondents showed that Estrada was one of the biggest gainers, improving his ranking by six notches.

Estrada has been very consistent in pre-election survey but this was the first time that he ranked third.

Senator Loren Legarda remains on the top spot and was followed by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, Estrada and Sen. Francis Escudero, who dropped to 4th from 2nd after he was hit by a controversy involving his girlfriend, actress Heart Evangelista.

Placing fifth is Nancy Binay and sixth is Cynthia Villar, followed by Sens. Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel, Antonio Trillanes and Gregorio Honasan, Bam Aquino, Grace Poe and securing the 12th spot is Rep. Sonny Angara.

The 13 to 15 spots are shared by Jack Enrile, Jun Magsaysay and Miguel Zubiri. (PNA)
