Convention on positive psychology set to prop student’s psyche & well-being

MANILA, March 25 — The task of applying psychological practices in both teaching and learning will, if successfully done, bring good changes in a student’s behaviour.

In line with this, psychology will be fused with education in the upcoming National Convention on Positive Psychology , which will be held at the Villa Caceres Hotel, Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City on April 25 to 26.

With the theme, "Potentials: Grounding Positive Psychology in the Educational Practice," the convention aims to promote positive psychology and its beneficial effects on Filipino psyche and well-being.

The convention will be conducted by the Psychology Department of the Ateneo de Naga University in partnership with the Asian Center for Applied Psychology (ACAPP) in Kuala Lumpur.

Target participants in the activity include educators, administrators, counselors, practitioners and students from both public and private elementary and secondary schools.
