Easterlies prevail over PHL – PAGASA

MANILA, March 13 — The dominant weather system inthe country will be the easterlies or the wind coming from the east affecting the eastern section of the country, according to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysicsl and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday.

Aside from being “warm,” the easterlies are also “rich in moisture" and this “warm, moist winds” are expected to bring partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms in the whole country.

PAGASA also said that moderate to strong winds blowing from the east will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
