PNP chief visits Caraga Police Regional Office-13

BUTUAN CITY, Feb. 28 — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police Director General Alan LM Purisima arrived at Camp Rafael C. Rodriguez, the regional headquarters of Police Regional Office-13 Thursday morning for his first regional visit after assuming his post.

Purisima and his group arrived at Camp Rodriguez at 10:15 a.m. and was afforded with an arrival honor by a “battalion-sized” police formation. The country’s top cop was welcomed by the top regional and provincial police officials led by Caraga PNP chief CSupt. Getulio P. Napenas.

The police chief then proceeded to give awards to some deserving police commissioned and non-commissioned officers, assisted by Napenas and other senior police officials.

Purisima gave his guidance to the officers and personnel of PRO-13 right after the arrival rites where he emphasized his administration’s program under the Police Patrol 2030 dubbed as the “CODE-P.”

He called on the police force to be “competent, organizationally developed, disciplined, excellent and professional” (CODE-P).

He also ordered the police to be prepared and to implement the necessary measures to ensure secure, free and credible elections on May 13.

The police chief then viewed and inspected the seized firearms from January and then had a “closed-door conference” with the top regional and provincial police officials and national support units (PNA)
