PHL Red Cross Laguna needs a service rep, 3 med techs

SANTA CRUZ, Laguna Feb. 21 — The Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter has announced job vacancies for a chapter service representative (CSR) under the Disaster Management Service and three medical technologists for the Blood Service.
Rudelly Cabutin, Red Cross Laguna chapter administrator said the positions are permanent in nature and shall be based in Red Cross Laguna Chapter.
The chapter service representative position sets the following qualifications: a university or college degree graduate of any four year course; knowledge of Basic Disaster Management.
The CSR applicants working experience in disaster operation is an advantage and must also possess working knowledge of program management; proficient in Microsoft Office applications; excellent oral and written skills and with excellent health conditions.
The applicants must be willing to work beyond office hours, holidays and during disaster and possess strong organizational and leadership skills.
Applicants should be service-oriented with excellent public relations.
Cabutin pointed to the CSR applicants driving skills and being a Red Cross Volunteer an advantage.
For the medical technologist positions, the applicants must be registered Medical Technologist; proficient in Microsoft Office applications; willing to work beyond office hours, holidays and disaster time; excellent health conditions and excellent in oral and written communications skills.
Med Tech applicants must possess strong organizational and leadership skills; service-oriented and excellent in public relations.
The Med Tech positions also include the driving skills and as Red Cross Volunteer a qualification advantage.
Applicants are requested to submit personally their application letter, resume with detailed Job Description, diploma and transcript of records, PRC board rating certificate (if any), Drivers license ID and the NBI/Police Clearance.
In addition, the Training Certificates on Disaster management (for the Chapter Service Representative) or Training Certificates on Blood Banking (for the Med Tech positions), previous Employment Certification and birth certificate are also required.Deadline for submission of the documents is on or before Friday, Feb. 22 at the Philippine Red Cross Laguna Chapter office at J. De Leon Street corner P. Guevara Avenue in Santa Cruz, Laguna.
The interviews for the qualified applicants shall be announced on a later date.
