Magnitude 3.1 quake rocks Laguna

MANILA, Feb. 19 — A magnitude 3.1 earthquake rocked parts of Laguna Tuesday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

The agency said the 2.43 p.m. quake had its epicenter at 1 km northwest of Rizal in Laguna.

The agency said the tremor was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 13 kms.

Phivolcs also reported that Intensity 4 was felt in Los Banos, Laguna; while Intensity was 2 felt in San Pablo City, Lipa City and Sto. Tomas in Batangas.(PNA)
