MANILA, Feb. 14 – The Philippines Navy Thursday has dispatched the BRP Bacolod (LC-550) for another relief run for people living in provinces still recovering from the devastating effects of Typhoon Pablo last December.

Lt. Cmdr. Gregory Fabic, PN spokesperson, said the relief supplies loaded aboard BRP Bacolod included two truckloads filled with rice, potable water and military supplies.

He added the ship will unload all its cargo in Cagayan De Oro where it will be trucked to the devastated areas of Compostela Valley and Davao Oriental.

The vessel is expected to reach Cagayan De Oro within four days.

Fabic said the items were donated by the Naval Reserve Command and the Caritas Foundation. (PNA)
