10 senior officers in PRO-6 take new posts

ILOILO CITY, Jan. 14 -– A top official of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO 6) on Monday confirmed the reassignment of seven senior officers before the start of the election period.
Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz, Jr., police regional director, said the revamp was due to the relief of Senior Supts. Wesley Barayuga, Marietto Valerio and Ricardo Dela Paz.
Barayuga is now holding a general position in Camp Crame as executive officer for the Directorate for Logistics.
Valerio ended his stint as director of Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) while Dela Paz was relieved as director of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
Valerio is now the officer-in-charge of the office of the Regional Chief Directorial Staff and Dela Paz heads the Regional Intelligence Division. S/Supt. Allan Guisihan moved up as deputy regional director for operations vice Barayuga.
S/Supt. Ruperto Floro, Jr., replaced Valerio and S/Supt. Edgardo Ordaniel for Dela Paz.
Floro was the chief of the Regional Operations and Plans Division and Ordaniel was the chief of the Regional Headquarters Support Group.
Supt. Khasmir Disomangcop, deputy chief of Regional Logistic and Research Development Division, will replace Ordaniel while Supt. Samuel Nacion will be the officer-in-charge of ROPD.
S/Supt. Celestino Guara, Sr. of Regional Personnel and Human Resource Development Division swapped position with S/Supt. Milko Lirazan., officer-in-charge of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO).
S/Supt. Gil Liben remains as the director of Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO).
Meanwhile, S/Supt. Pedrito Faronilmo delos Reyes, whose re-assignment from National Capital Region Police Office to Antique Police Provincial Office (APPO) was revoked last week, was again designated as its officer-in-charge.
Cruz clarified that with the start of the election period on Sunday, the future re-assigment of police officers must have the approval of the Commission on Elections (Comelec). (PNA)
