MANILA, Dec. 30 — Firetrucks from nearby areas in Metro Manila have been ordered to assist in putting out the more than eight-hour fire which has been raging in an industrial area in the Bagong Tanyag, Taquig City Sunday morning.

In a telephone interview with a Taguig's fire bureau official, it was learned that the blaze, of still undetermined origin, started at the DIC Company, a paint firm, around 9:00 a.m. The flames quickly spread to the adjacent tissue factory, Sanitary Care Products of Asia, which was also burned down.
