ILOILO CITY, Dec. 27 — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has allowed sea vessels to resume their operations Thursday morning after the state weather agency has cleared Western Visayas from typhoon signal.

Wednesday’s landfall of tropical depression Quinta with signal No. 1 hoisted over Western Visayas resulted to the cancellation of trips of 18 trucks; 25 rolling cargoes; two vessels and 24 motorized bancas leaving 1,654 stranded passengers in various ports and piers in Iloilo. (PNA)
