MANILA, Nov. 21 — The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) continues affecting Mindanao while many parts of the country will experience a good weather in the next two days, the state weather bureau said on Wednesday.

Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) Forecaster Gener Quitlong said that ITCZ will bring cloudy with occasional light to moderate rains in Mindanao and Palawan.

Quitlong said that northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan,” on the other hand, is expected to prevail over northern Luzon. Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have light rains.

The rest of the country including Metro Manila will have a mixture of sunny to cloudy skies with possible light passing rains mostly in the afternoon or evening due to localized convection.

PAGASA also said that moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to east will prevail over Luzon and eastern Visayas and coming from the northeast and east over eastern Mindanao.

The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast and east with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
