MANILA, Oct. 3 — Supreme Court (SC) Associate Justice Martin S. Villarama, Jr. has ordered the Bar watchers, headwatchers, supervisors and superintendents to strictly follow the rules in the conduct of the Bar exams on Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2012 at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in España, Manila.

Villarama is the Chairperson of the Committee on the 2012 Bar Examinations.

“I want perfect, flawless Bar exams,” Villarama said.

He made the statement after the traditional Holy Mass sponsored by the Office of the Bar Confidant held Wednesday at the Old Session Hall of the SC in Padre Faura St., Ermita, Manila.

Villarama added that he is pleased about the continuous willingness of the Bar personnel to help and serve the Bar exams.

A total of 5,686 law graduates had been admitted by the SC to take the 2012 Bar examinations.

Besides the exams’ taking place in October, rather than November, another modification from last year’s Bar exams is the format of the eight Bar subjects, which is now a combination of the multiple choice and the essay types of exam. (PNA)
