A search and rescue contingent from the province of Albay, aptly named Team Albay/OCD 5, reaches Valenzuela City on Thursday (Aug. 9, 2012) to help in the ongoing rescue and evacuation operations in the Caloocan-Malabon-Navotas-Valenzuela (Camanava) area. The team members bring with them much-needed equipment, including a fire truck (left) and a portable water sanitation and filtration system (middle photo). The 53-man contingent was deployed since Wednesday in Marikina City and Quezon City before going to Camanava. Right photo shows Navy Capt.
