The construction of the four-lane underpass along Quezon Ave. crossing Araneta Ave. near the Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City is nearing completion very much ahead of schedule. The Department of Public works and Highways (DPWH) says the underpass will be open to traffic on July 15, 2012. Once the entire Araneta Ave.-Quezon Ave. interchange project is completed also ahead of schedule by September 2012, it will help decongest traffic along Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) and nearby major thoroughfares.
