Antique guv distributes automotive tools to TESDA graduates

ILOILO CITY, Feb. 13 – Antique Governor Exequiel B. Javier recently distributed tools to the new graduates of a four-month training on automotive by the Technical Educational and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Gov. Javier distributed the P5,000 tools each to the 25 TESDA graduates to help them start their own livelihood.

Antique Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Lazaro G. Petinglay said that the 25 TESDA graduates are out of school youth who availed the TESDA scholarship. They are also part of the beneficiaries of the Youth Migration Employment program of the province of Antique.

Petinglay said with the skills on automotive and their tools, the beneficiaries could now start to have their own source of livelihood and be productive members of society. (PNA)
