ILOILO CITY, Feb. 9 – Philippine Vice President Jejomar C. Binay has lauded the high satisfaction rating recently garnered by Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.

In his letter to the city mayor, Binay said he “wish to congratulate you in garnering a 76 percent satisfaction rating in the survey conducted by Random Access Consultants Inc. of the University of the Philippines (UP) Visayas.”

The Vice President said that the very good rating of Mabilog “reflects the faith of your constituents that their local officials have their interests in mind. I commend you for leading the way in local government excellence. I pray that your programs will be emulated by your fellow mayors, not just in the province of Iloilo, but in the whole country.”

The performances in governance of Mabilog, city Vice Mayor Jose Espinosa III and all the city councilors were surveyed last November 2012 that placed all local city officials in good standing and high ratings.

The RACI survey results also showed the programs, projects and total performance in governance of elected city officials are acceptable and recognized by the city residents. (PNA) LAP/ajp/LCPendon/vlo
