Vice Mayor Felix Aguinaldo clarified that the motorcycle reward would be given to anyone who could furnish information about alleged drug pushing activities in the town's tricycle parking areas here.
Vice Mayor Aguinaldo said he would give the reward to put to stop drug pushing in any part of the town.
The vice mayor made the move following reports from the town council and the Philippine National Police (PNP) that drug pushers are busy trading shabu in the tricycle parking areas.
This was reported by a passenger who said she saw that a match box containing shabu was being passed by unidentified persons in one of the tricycle’s parking areas in the town proper.
Alarmed by the report, the local police has vowed to intensify its monitoring operation to stop alleged drug pushing activities in the town. (PNA)
