CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija, Feb. 1 — Governor Aurelio Umali recently led the inauguration of the new gymnasium inside the sprawling compound of the Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Office (NEPPO) here.

The inverted U-shaped gymnasium was the biggest so far constructed by the provincial government, a strong manifestation of the Umali administration's all-out support to the local police force.

Boyet Santos, provincial engineer, said the P4-million, nine-meter high gym was funded by the provincial government.

The gym project, whose construction started in October last year, stands in a 600-square-meter lot inside the NEPPO.

It was negotiated by provincial police director Sr. Supt. Roberto Aliggayu and Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) director Supt. Edgar Alan Okubo. (PNA)
