AFP ready for change of command on Monday

MANILA, Dec. 9 – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said Friday it is all set for the change of command on Monday morning.

Col. Arnulfo Burgos Jr., AFP public affairs office (PAO) head, said in a press briefing that outgoing AFP chief of staff Gen. Eduardo Oban will turn over his command to a still to-be-announced successor at 10 a.m.

Burgos said they have prepared parading elements for the change of command ceremony wherein President Benigno S. Aquino III will be the guest of honor and speaker. (PNA)
