MANILA, Nov. 11 — More than 300 Filipinos were affected by floods in Thailand and have been assisted by the Philippine embassy there.

A report of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Friday the embassy in Bangkok reported that 314 Filipino individuals or groups have sought its help as of Thursday.

Relief supplies have been delivered to various flood-affected areas, the embassy said, adding that other Filipinos who need help may call its hotline numbers for any request for assistance — 0899265954 and 0843608405. It can also be reached via email at bangkokpe@gmail.com.

Flood updates in English can be obtained from the Thai Government Public Relations Department (PRD).

"Please monitor closely news broadcasts and advisories for evacuation at the BMA website," the embassy advised Filipinos there. (PNA) scs/FFC/FPV
