(Metro News) Malabon to air Pacquiao-Marquez bout for free

MANILA, Nov. 9 — Malabon Vice Mayor Antolin Oreta has said the city government will place enormous television screens at the Oreta Sports Center in Barangay San Agustin to allow the local residents to watch for free the boxing match between Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and challenger Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday.

According to Oreta, the bout between the Filipino superstar and his Mexican opponent will be broadcast starting at 8 a.m.

Oreta said that complimentary tickets will be given away to residents on a first-come, first-served basis.

He also ordered Malabon Police Station chief Supt. Ferninand Ampil to deploy an ample number of policemen who will provide security in the area. (PNA)
