MANILA, Oct. 28 – The Allow Departure Order (ADO) being sought by former President and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo may be released next month.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) failed to issue an ADO on Friday as Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Enrique Ona did not give a report regarding the assessment of the medical abstract of the former president.

DOJ Secretary Leila De Lima said that the report submitted by the attending physicians of the Pampanga congresswoman was subjected for the examination of Ona.

De Lima said that an opinion of an expert is necessary so that any decision that may be arrived at will be proper and correct, more so that the former president is facing a sensitive case.

Likewise, De Lima also said that the ADO for Mrs. Arroyo may be released next month.

Earlier, De Lima told reporters covering the DOJ on Thursday that the ADO might be released on Friday. (PNA) scs/PTR/utb
