Aquino III and Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva honor the colors and singing of the national anthem during the arrival honor at the Government House for the two-day State Visit in the Kingdom of Thailand Thursday afternoon (May 26, 2011). President Aquino will present the administration’s Public-Private Partnership (PPP) program to PM Abhisit and Thai business groups, as well as discuss cooperation in new areas, including combating drug trafficking and agriculture promotion, and cooperation in regional and multilateral fora. The visit aims to further strengthen the Philippines’ bilateral relations with Thailand, as well as cooperation within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in order to help build a secure and prosperous ASEAN Community by 2015.
