MANILA, Feb. 1 – Navotas Mayor John Rey Tiangco has directed all city hall employees to comply strictly with Memorandum Order No. 105-11, also known as the uninterrupted work schedule policy, so that the city's taxpayers can be served the best way.

With the issuance of the order, services being provided by the local government need not be disrupted by the daily 12 noon to 1 p.m. lunch break.

Tiangco emphasized there is a need for continuous service even during lunch time as it has been observed that many of the public clientele take advantage of their respective noon breaks to get the services they need from the city government such as securing the community tax certificate. For this reason, all city hall employees are directed by the mayor to amply provide personnel to man front-line services “to ensure uninterrupted public service straight from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.”

Employees may be allowed to take staggered schedule for break-time by their respective department heads as deemed necessary.

With the issuance of the directive, taxpayers can now easily transact their businesses with the city hall even during the usual break-time hour.

Tiangco also took the opportunity to thank all the Navoteños, especially the taxpayers, for supporting the programs of the city government and assured that the city hall will be working on the double to ensure the progress of the locality. (PNA)
