BAGUIO CITY, Dec. 23 – Twenty-two choir groups who joined the final contest of singing Christmas carols Wednesday night at the Burnham Park entertained a big crowd composed mostly of vacationists here.

City councilor Elmer Datuin, chair of the city council on tourism, said the success of the event "encouraged us more to perfect our presentations for Christmas."

The councilor was in-charge of the first edition of "snow show" in Baguio which resulted to variant reactions.

Datuin said until the New Year's Eve, "there will be other events like the fireworks display which would give cheer and joy to our residents and visitors." (PNA)
