(Metro News) Robbers cart away P7M from money changer shop in Pasay

MANILA, Dec. 8 – Armed men carted away an estimated P7 million cash from a money changer shop inside a mall in Pasay City Wednesday morning, a ranking police official said.

Quoting reports from the National Operations Center (NOC) in Camp Crame, Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesman Chief Supt. Agrimero Cruz Jr. said that the heist happened at around 10:30 a.m. at the basement parking of Metro Point located in Rotunda, Pasay City.

Cruz said three armed men barged inside Sanry’s Money Changer where the employees where held at gun point.

“The suspects carted away cash money amounting to P7 million,” he added.

Cruz said the suspects escaped using their motorcycles parked along Zamora Street near the mall.

He said that a thorough investigation is now ongoing. (PNA) scs/MM
