ABUCAY, Bataan, Nov. 18 – The Philippine National Police (PNP) gained headway in its anti-illegal drugs campaign throughout the province with a suspected drug pusher's arrest here Wednesday.

Abucay police investigator SPO2 Allan Salalila said 48-year-old Armando Estrella alias 'Nanding Kape' of Barangay Wawa in Abucay was apprehended during a buy-bust operation at 2:00 a.m. in front of his house.

Confiscated from him were four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu, an illegal drug, and a P500 bill marked money.

Abucay police chief Sr. Insp. Pepe Alindayo said the suspect was under their surveillance for several months.

He noted Estrella was previously arrested for illegal possession of drugs but continued in the illegal drugs trade.

Salalila said Estrella committed two violations.

“This time, the suspect faces a case for violating Sections 11 (illegal possession) and 5 (drug pushing) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act,” Salalila said. (PNA)
