DENR, GTZ sign agreement supporting Philippine efforts toward cutting greenhouse gases

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Ramon J.P. Paje and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) Country Director Jochem Lange (2nd and 3rd from left, respectively) sign an implementation agreement on Monday (Sept. 20, 2010) to undertake a new 2.7-million Euro technical assistance project aimed at reducing emissions of greenhouse gases from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD) in the country.
