(Metro News) City Hall employee, companion caught in pot session

MANILA, Sept. 14 –An employee of the Manila City Hall and his companion were arrested during a pot session in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Monday afternoon.

Police identified the suspects as Arvin Espinosa, 43, married, administrative officer 1 of the Manila City hall and resident of Tolentino St., Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City; and Rogelio Moselina, 40, single, jobless, and of Elias St., Sta. Cruz, Manila.

Supt. James Afalla, of the Manila Police District Sta. Cruz Station 3, said the two were arrested at 1:30 p.m. inside the resident of Moselina.

Prior to their arrest, Afalla said they received information that pot session was allegedly on-going in the area.

Afalla dispatched his men to conduct an operation in the area. The two were caught in the act while sniffing suspected shabu inside the house.

Police recovered from their possession three strips of aluminum foil with shabu residue, glass tooter, two disposable lighters and three plastic sachets of suspected shabu.

The two are now facing violation of Sec. 11 and 12, in relations to Sec 15, Art. II of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (PNA) RMA/JES
