NEDA Sec. Paderanga Jr. hands over to President Aquino a copy of the Philippines Progress Report on the MDGs

National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Cayetano Paderanga Jr., handed over to President Benigno S. Aquino III a copy of the Philippines Progress Report on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) during the Stakeholdersí Step-up Campaign Forum on the Philippine MDGs at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Ayala Center, Makati City on Wednesday (Sept. 8, 2010). The Fourth Progress Report will be presented to the United Nations (UN) during the High Level Plenary Meeting on the MDGs in New York on September 20-22, 2010. The summit was called by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon to take stock of proven MDG initiatives and for governments to commit to a concrete action agenda to achieve the goals in the next five years.
