(Metro News) KFC outlet in QC catches fire

MANILA, Sept. 4 – Regular customers of a fastfood chain in Diliman, Quezon City, which caught fire early Saturday morning, were saddened after they found out that their favorite eatery was closed for the day for emergency repairs, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Text Fire Philippines (TFP) said.

Initial investigation by BFP showed one of its air conditioning units conked out and caught fire at 7 a.m.

The 30-minute fire damaged the second floor of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) branch on East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City. No one was injured in the blaze which lasted until 7:30 a.m.

KFC management said they had to clean the place before resuming normal operations.(PNA) RMA/JCA
