MANILA, Aug. 15 — The Court of Appeals (CA), in a 10-page decision, has voided the 2006 ruling of Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 119 which ordered the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) to consolidate the cost of living allowance (COLA) and amelioration allowance into the basic salaries of its 1,500 employees.
