Iloilo vice guv on SONA: P-NOY committed to bring change

ILOILO CITY, July 28 – Iloilo vice governor Oscar “Richard” Garin Jr. said that Pres. Benigno “P-Noy” Aquino in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) delivered Monday has showed the Filipino people how committed he is to bring change and good governance in this country.

Vice Gov. Garin, who attended the SONA, said that he is convinced the President in his tenure will be working hard to bring change and good governance in the country as he had enunciated.

“The President’s direction is towards the country’s betterment. He already started it right,” the vice governor said.

He also said that the President as in strategic planning pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of the previous administration so it could be used as his springboard in the delivery of change.

It could be noted also that Vice Gov. Garin’s wife Cong. Janette L. Garin (1st District, Iloilo province) is among those in the Reception Committee of Congress who fetched Pres. Aquino for his SONA.

Garin said this made their constituents proud of their representation knowing that she will be working hard also in the delivery of public services as she is in her third term. (PNA)
