MANILA, July 24 — All transactions pertaining to the machine readable passport (MRP) and electronic passport (ePassport) projects are legal and transparent, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) stressed anew on Friday.

MANILA, July 24 —- To appease its detractors who accuse the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) of exorbitant e-passport fees, the DFA has presented a comparative international price list for the public to mull on,adding that the Philippine travel document is, in fact, “one of the lowest in Asia and the world.”

MANILA, July 24 —- A major Thai conglomerate intends to expand its presence in the Philippines by investing an initial US$ 45million in the hogs feeds sector, it was reported by the Philippine embassy in Bangkok.
