Tropical Depression 'Caloy' moving out of RP

MANILA, July 19 – The Philippine Atmospheric, Geological and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Monday afternoon that tropical depression "Caloy" was spotted 380 kilometers west of Subic, Zambales with a maximum wind of up to 55 kilometers per hour (kph).

Pagasa said that based on satellite and surface data as of 4 p.m. Monday, "Caloy" was estimated to be moving out of the country with a speed of 15 kph.

With this, Pagasa said the whole country would experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough as moderate to strong winds from southeast to south prevail over Luzon and Visayas.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast, on the other hand, will prevail over the rest of the country with slight to moderate sea movements. (PNA) V3/RMA/ogi
