MANILA, July 2 —A series of arrests last month of Filipinos in Chinese territories on suspicion of drug-trafficking has alarmed anew Philippine authorities in Hong Kong and Macau and warned would-be travelers of being duped into the illegal activity.

Maguindanao Gov. Ismael "Toto" Mangudadatu said Atty. Richard Petisme, counsel for Mayor Zacaria Sangki of Ampatuan town in Maguindanao, was riding on a vehicle along Sinsuat Avenue here when two men riding in tandem on a motorbike opened fire.
