MANILA, June 28 – The Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOTF) on Monday filed charges of violation of anti-illegal drug laws against a member of the PNP-Aviation Security Group before the Department of Justice (DOJ)

Supt. Eduardo Acierto, AIDSOTF chief, identified the suspects as SPO1 Alexander Estabillo, 49, detailed at PNP-Aviation Security Group at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

In the criminal information submitted to the DOJ, AIDSOTF said Estabillo was arrested during a buy-bust operation on the night of June 15 in Las Fiestas Drive, Frontera Verde, Barangay Ugong Pasig City.

The buy-bust followed tipped that Estabillo was engaged in illegal drug operation at the NAIA.

Seized from the suspect were two boxes of shoes containing four kilos of cocaine amounting to P6,000,000, AIDSOTF said.

Also seized from him were two BDO checkbooks and Metrobank passbook, a wallet containing his credentials, including two PNP identification cards. (PNA) RMA/PTR
