Bulacan murdered trader found

MARILAO, Bulacan, June 23 — A businessman was found dead and buried under a heap of “darak” (rice bran) inside feeds factory in Barangay Sta. Rosa Dos here Tuesday night.

Police identified the victim as Emmanuel Guillermo, 50, an owner of Max pro feeds factory in Barangay Sta. Rosa Dos.

According to Guillermo’s niece Angelo Nicanor Concepcion, the victim called him up at around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

But after several hours, he never heard from his uncle again prompting him and other relatives to look for him at the factory.

Once inside the compound of the feeds factory, Concepcion said they found his uncle’s car but his uncle was nowhere to be found.

After finding his uncle’s briefcase, a tube pipe and traces of blood, he said, they immediately sought police assistance.

Police investigators later found the body of Guillermo buried under heaps of “darak”.

The victim bore wounds on the head and other parts of his body, police said.

The victim’s mobile phone, cash money and other personal belongings were also missing, Concepcion said.

Police are now tracking down some workers at the feeds factory who could shed light on the case. (PNA)
